• Groups & movements that reflect my own, phantasmagorical memories of an Internet that used to exist, for example:
  • geminispace and other alternative web protocols
  • ...but see this blogpost by Daniel Stenberg, creator of curl, for an excellent critique of geminispace
  • indieweb & small-web
  • comparable movements in gaming, like the SWORD DREAM.
• A number of tools designed to process markdown, including:
  • OneNote, which I stopped using a number of years ago but deserves honorable mention for years of service,
  • Obsidian, of course; I actually had a paid subscription for it, but I ended up wanting something sleeker and more minimal,
  • LogSeq, an excellent FOSS competitor to Obsidian
